Prior to becoming a Licensed Master Social Worker in July 2020, Briana has always known she wanted to dedicate her life to healing those who have experienced trauma in the African American and LGBT communities. In her professional career, Briana has served as an advocate for neglected/abused children, those suffering from chronic homelessness, mental health, substance abuse and HIV/AIDS. Within her various roles, she successfully launched a holistic wellness initiative, and assisted clients in navigating the complexities of the legal and housing systems of Metro Atlanta. Briana's long term goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and support youth facing barriers in life where they can create their own success stories. Briana is a firm believer that the brightness of the future is dependent on the wellness and stability of our youth.
