“I wanted to create a toolkit that focuses on the empowerment of female children in conjunction with parent/guardian involvement. I believe the influence of a parent is powerful when it comes to the development of how a child establishes their identity. Children receive messages daily that attempt to influence the way they should perceive themselves and their value. When we provide constructive reinforcement highlighting the positive and unique aspects that make a child who they are, we are giving them the power to stand and say I AM HAND MADE!”
